Jay Wortmann, MAI
Jay is a partner and manages the Omaha office. He has extensive experience in the market analysis of multifamily developments in the conventional, affordable, and mixed income housing industry. His focus areas include low income housing tax credits (LIHTCs), USDA, Section 8, and conventional developments. Additionally, he specializes in preparing valuations of general and limited partnership interests and Year 15 valuation matters. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Jay is a Certified General Appraiser and holds an MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.
Amanda Baker, MAI
Amanda is a partner in the Omaha office and joined Kinetic Valuation Group in November 2011. Her principal practice areas include low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs), USDA, Section 8, and conventional developments. Additionally, she specializes in US Department (HUD) Rent Comparability Studies, HUD Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) program as well as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac valuation services.
Amanda is a Certified General Appraiser and holds an MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration specializing in Real Estate Land Use & Economics and Marketing from the University Nebraska-Omaha.
Charlie is a Manager and joined the firm in October 2011. He has extensive experience in market analysis of multifamily developments. Charlie is a Certified General Appraiser. He received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with emphasis in Global Strategic Studies from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Brent Griffiths, MAI
Brent joined Kinetic Valuation Group in March 2013. He is a Principal with a focus in market analysis of multifamily developments in affordable housing industry. Brent received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and a secondary specialization in Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Brent is a Certified General Appraiser.

Sarah joined Kinetic Valuation Group in November 2016. She is a Manager with extensive experience in market analysis of affordable multifamily developments. Sarah is a Certified General Appraiser. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing and a secondary specialization in Real Estate and Land Use from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Byron N Lea, MAI
Byron holds an MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is licensed in California and Colorado as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. Prior to establishing Lea & Company in 2006, Byron N. Lea, MAI was a Partner with the national accounting firm of Novogradac & Company, LLP. From 2000 through 2006, he opened the firm’s Midwest and Los Angeles Valuation Group offices, developing clientele and professional staff. During that time period, he and staff in the two offices performed over 1,400 market studies and appraisal assignments throughout the Midwest and Western States. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the California State University Sacramento.
